How to Activate Your License Key

A valid license key is required to access auto-updates, security patches, and premium technical support. Your license keys are generated instantly upon purchase.

Finding Your License Key

Your license key can be found in two places:

1. **Your Email Receipt:** Sent from Freemius immediately after checkout.

1. **My Account Portal:** Log in to your account page, select the **Licenses** tab, and copy the key string.

Activating in WordPress

1. Navigate to your WordPress dashboard.

1. Click the new product menu that appears in the sidebar (e.g., **SEO Booster** or **Cache Optimizer**).

1. In the activation box, paste your licensing key code.

1. Click **Activate License**.

1. Once validated, your settings panel will unlock, and you will see a 'License Active' status confirmation.

Troubleshooting Activation Failures

• **Whitespace errors:** Ensure you didn't accidentally select leading or trailing spaces when copying the key.

• **Firewall blocks:** Some hosting firewalls block outgoing requests. Ensure your host is not blocking outgoing connections to `freemius.com`.
